ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: Do you have a physical golf store?

A: The Caddy Shop does not have a physical store location. We are an online golf shop based out of Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our parent company is Monaghan Golf Inc., a golf course management company located in Vancouver, BC.

Q: Can I pick up my order?

A: Since many of our golf products ship directly from our manufacturers, we only ship and there is no pick up option at this time.

Q: Where do you ship?

A: We ship golf products across Canada. We do not ship to the US or Internationally at this time.

Q: How long will my order take?

A: All items purchased on our online golf store ship by Canada Post; delivery is generally between 2-10 business days.

Q: Where is my order?

A: We strive to get your order out the door within 2 days. Variables on shipping times include order volumes, social distancing protocols, replenishment dates and Canada Post’s own operations. If you have a question, please connect with us at orders@thecaddyshop.com for tracking information.

Q: I was charged for my order but didn’t receive a confirmation email.

A: Please check your Junk filter and add orders(at)thecaddyshop(dot)com to your Contacts or safe senders list. If this does not solve the problem, it may simply be an incorrectly entered email address. Send us an email and we’re happy to get this resolved.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: All sales are final and there are no returns. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

We will exchange items only if defective, damaged in transit or the incorrect size. Times to receive your exchanged product may vary and are dependent upon your location. For items over $75 consider using a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. For direct exchange of product, email our team at sales(at)thecaddyshop.com for address information.

Q: Where can I leave a The Caddy Shop Review?

A: We’d love to hear what you think and are always looking for ways to improve our service and expand our offerings. You can leave The Caddy Shop a review at: yelp.com or our Facebook page found HERE.

ABOUT THE GAME AND YOUR PRODUCT NEEDS:

Q: What golf brands do you sell?

A: Some of the brands we currently carry are Bushnell, FootJoy, Titleist, Callaway, 2Undr, ClicGear, Pride Sports, Scotty Cameron, Theragun, Nike Golf, Orange Whip, Putt Out and Pelz Golf. We continue to add items routinely and are always looking for new golf products for our customers. If you have products you are looking for but do not see on our online golf shop, drop us an email to inquire.

Q: Why are ClicGear push carts and accessories so hard to get?

A: Due to the Covid pandemic in 2020 and 2021, broken and/or much slower supply chains coming from Asia in addition to changing export/import regulations around the pandemic meant many golf products were harder to get, ClicGear push carts included. We expect to see shipping delays on ClicGear products into 2022 and potentially beyond. We do expect The Caddy Shop to have sporadic stock throughout 2022 so keep checking in with us.

Q: What golf balls do you sell?

A: We currently offer the entire range of Titleist golf balls. However, we are continually adding to our product line up and expect to see other golf ball brands coming soon.

Q: What are the differences between all the different Titleist golf balls?

A: See blog post HERE.

Q: What are the best golf clubs for my game?

A: We believe that using the expertise at your local Pro Shop or participating in a club fitting session is the best way to determine the most suitable golf clubs for your game. Despite your level of proficiency, we recommend you use a PGA Golf Professional or certified Club Fitter to help you determine your best suited equipment.

We’re able to access all golf club vendors in Canada to help get you your set of clubs. If you know your specs and have an idea about the equipment you are looking for, we can order golf equipment for you directly from the manufacturer. We’re also happy to provide a quote and timeframe. Reach out to us via email and we will work our magic.

Q: What are the best golf shoes/warranties and how long should a pair of shoes last?

A: Did you know that golf shoes are the most underrated piece of equipment for your golf game? Walking or riding 18 holes in different types of weather means you need the right support for your feet. Most companies offer a 1-2 year waterproof warranty on their golf footwear. A typical pair of shoes should last 1-2 playing seasons at about 40 rounds a season.

We recommend two pairs of footwear. For summer or warm weather golf, we advise having a pair of running shoe-style golf shoes with a mesh-upper built for comfort and breathability like a Nike brand or FootJoy Flex. The second pair you should use for the shoulder season or wet days. A cleated golf shoe with more stability is ideal and should be waterproof, of course. Brands like Skechers Go Golf Torque or FootJoy Traditions are ideal. FootJoy also offers waterproof, lined boots that cover the ankle for rainy season golf.

Whatever you choose, make sure the golf shoe fits comfortably and meets the needs of your feet. Four hours on your feet is a long time and you want to ensure total comfort.

The Caddy Shop offers different types of shoes and boots throughout the seasons. All warranties are listed in our product descriptions and we’ll honour your waterproof warranties.

Q: How should a golf glove fit?

A: The perfect fitting golf glove will hug the entire hand snuggly. Golf gloves are found in a wide variety of sizes for both genders and for wider hands also (known as ‘cadets’). The amount of material left at the tips of your fingers should be minimal. If you have too much, then the glove is too big. The glove should be smooth at the back of your hand and on the palm. A note to beginners: If you are right handed you wear your glove on your left hand and vice versa.

Q: Do golf training aids really work?

A: Golf training aids allow you the opportunity to work on your game at home, in your hotel room or anywhere you go. There are a plethora of these aids on the market; some are useful and deliver results while others are gimmicky. Lots use accompanying apps to provide deeper level data on your game and others fall apart after a few uses. We haven’t tried them all so will leave the detailed reviews of golf training aids to other websites.

What we do know is that most training aids will enhance your game if you actually use them routinely. Training aids can not only enhance your putting, chipping or your swing, but your flexibility, physical fitness, and game recovery. Bottom line: practice makes perfect … or progress!

Our top selling golf training aids are the Orange Whip swing trainer, the Putt Out Putting Matt, the Putt Out Putting Mirror and the Thergun percussive therapy massage device.

Q: As a new golfer, what are the golf essentials I should have?

A: There are endless product possibilities for the beginner golfer. We suggest starting with a box of golf balls, a well-fitting golf glove, and a package of wooden tees. Once you get more comfortable - and skilled - you can begin to research quality golf clubs, golf balls and other golf accessories that will aid your game. But nothing is more essential than practice, practice, practice.

Q: Still have questions?
